Deliciously moreish homemade black pudding, chorizo and goats cheese sausage rolls. Quick and easy to make and devoured in even less time.

ingredients

Simon Howie Wee Black Pudding Chub (200g)

1 egg

125g goat’s cheese

320g pack Jus-Rol Puff Pastry Ready Rolled Sheet

100g chorizo sausage

Method

1. Preheat oven to 180°, and meanwhile, roll out the pastry.

2. Slice the black pudding into bite-size pieces and place on the pastry sheet, distancing the pieces out evenly.

3. Slice the goat’s cheese into bite-size pieces and place on top of the black pudding bites. Then do the same for the chorizo sausage, placing the small pieces on top of the goat’s cheese bites.

4. Brush egg yolk down the sides of the pastry to bind the pastry together before folding over to create a long sausage shape.

5. Once rolled over, brush egg yolk across the pastry and slice the long piece of filled pastry into small, individual rolls.

6. Place on a greased baking tray (either using a little butter to cover the baking tray or a sheet of baking paper to prevent the rolls sticking.

7. Place baking tray in the oven and cook for 10-15 (until golden brown).

8. Remove carefully from the oven, serve and enjoy!
