ingredients

6 rashers of Simon Howie Smoked Streaky Bacon

75g of slightly salted butter (softened)

Large handful of grated cheddar

heaped teaspoon of garlic

2 bake in the over baguettes

pinch of mixed herbs

3 spring onions (sliced)

Method

  1. Chop into small pieces and fry off the bacon
  2. Place the softened butter in a bowl (5 seconds in the microwave can help!)
  3. Add the garlic, mixed herbs, cheese, bacon, and spring onions and stir.
  4. Slice sections in the baguettes being careful not to cut all the way through.
  5. Add the mixture to each section and then generously apply it to the top of the baguette also.
  6. Place the baguettes into the air fryer compartment (using a liner will be tidier but not essential)
  7. Cook at 180 degrees for 9 minutes (check at 8 minutes)
  8. Serve immediately – golden brown and piping hot!
